Best day of my life!

I haven't been 'at the blog' much as Sarah and I have been having a baby! So I'm allowing a non TGO pic and blog in as she is so perfect. She was born at Oldham Royal on Friday 13th at 2.30 AM and weighed in at 7lbs 6oz. Healthy and happy we're so glad she's finally here and look forward to many adventures with her.

An 'overdue' trip up Alderman!

Sarah and I took a slow plod upto Alderman's Brow for a 'breath of fresh' today. We enjoyed perfect conditions with a  fresh September nip in the air.  

A dip in Dock 9!

Sarah (very Pregnant!) and I popped down to Dock 9 at Salford Quays this morning to meet up with our friend Emma who is a keen open water swimmer. We sat and watched from the side before treating her to a well-deserved hot chocolate. An afternoon stroll and a shake at Battery Park topped of a relaxing Saturday!

A bimble on Blackstone!

Took a wander over Blackstone edge this afternoon with Sarah. Lovely walking conditions.

Call the Midwife!

With slices of pineapple and a flask of raspberry leaf tea we enjoyed a walk over Kinder yesterday. I was able to relax a little as 'our kids' over from Aus (shes a midwife!).

I've taken some time off pre the birth of our first. Sarah and I enjoyed the best of the weather yesterday for a walk round the res's at Dove Stones.
